It seems like this is obvious but my group, and doing a quick search, has use their terms interchangeably to mean PB + Modifier, PB, and Modifier. Please help identify this????

Spell Ability Modifier: This is not a D&D term. There is a D&D term "spellcasting ability modifier" which refers to the ability modifier you use to cast spells. Each class, ability, and so on will tell you what ability modifier it uses for spells; for example, here is the text saying Bards use their Charisma modifier.
Spell Attack Modifier: This is the modifier you use for Spell Attacks. As with your Spell Ability Modifier, each class, subclass, etc will tell you what your Spell Attack Modifier is. For example, a Bard's Spell Attack Modifier is defined as: Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier; in general, it will always be proficiency bonus + spellcasting ability modifier, provided you have a spellcasting ability modifier.

Going to build on quindraco's answer just a little.
Spell attack: same rules as a weapon attack, except for things that can't be classified as weapons. Confusingly, is not limited to spells and may not even be magical.
Spell attack bonus: see spell attack modifier
Spell modifier/bonus: I assume is also a misnamed reference to another of the above.
Spell save DC: one you missed that comes up A LOT. It is 8+PB+spellcasting ability modifier, and is the number targets have to roll to beat to avoid all or part of an effect (see saving throw rules).
I did not refer to the DC because that wasn't part of my question. It's the least misunderstood term versus everything else.
So Spell Attack = Spell Attack Modifier; (i.e. 8 + PB + mod) Spell Casting Ability = What ever the class' modifier they use for casting. The rest of it is homebrew terms.

Spell attack doesn't mean spell attack bonus/modifier. The attack is rolling the d20 to try and beat an AC and the modifier is added to the roll. You only add 8 for DCs, not to attack rolls.
Ability refers to your Intelligence, Strength, etc scores. The "spellcasting ability" is which one of those modifiers are used for your spells.

I've seeing conflicting interpretations:
Spell Attack
Spell Ability Modifier
Spell Attack Modifier
Spell Attack Bonus
Spell Modifier
Spell Bonus

Absolutely nothing in the game right now has a Spell Attack Modifier of 8+PB+mod. It is always PB+mod in practice.
