Spelljammer is the name of a game setting, just as Forgotten Realms is.
The Astral Plane is a plane of existence divided into Wildspace and the Astral Sea. The Astral Sea is "most" of the Astral Plane, and it has "bubbles" of Wildspace in it. A Wildspace "bubble" is an area where the Astral Plane and the Prime Material Plane overlap; 100% of the Prime Material plane appears to be in some Wildspace bubble, which is why when you're on the Prime Material, you always have access to the Astral. Spelljammer as a game setting focuses on the Astral Sea, because in general, each Wildspace Bubble is a distinct setting - e.g. the Wildspace bubble called "Realmspace" contains the Forgotten Realms setting, while "Krynnspace" contains Dragonlance.
Oops, I meant to write "What is the difference between Wildspace and Astral space?" Sorry for having a massive brain lapse and accidentally writing something completely different!
Wild space is the area around a prime material world/system. It is embedded in the Astral sea - think of it as an island or archipelago within an ocean. Generally, in wild space you need an air bubble to breath and may need to push off objects to move around. In astral space you don’t actually need the air bubble and you “fly” around in it at “the speed of thought” which is represented as higher. Intelligence moving faster. ( my own experiments with astral projection years ago suggest a very different understanding of that but game rules apply here.)
Looks like you could describe it as universes within a multiversal foam. The Wildspaces are what we think of when we think of traditional space, and the astral sea is the medium that they exist within. A space beyond space.

That is not setting compatible with any of the official settings, like Forgotten Realms, Eberron and Greyhawk.
In essence they have substituted the astral sea/plane for interplanetary space so that you can move around far faster and don’t need air bubbles/space suits etc to also allow for normal astral travel as well as for spelljammers. In interplanetary space(wild space) you do need some sort of magical support to survive ( air bubbles, planets, spelljammers) and the speeds are much more like normal speeds.

HERE.Astral Space is not a game term.

HERE.The Astral is a separate plane from realmspace where Spelljammers flay.

Simple. space and not space.
