I play a rogue a lot of the time, and the question of double dashing keeps coming up. If I have a base speed of 30 and dash as an action my new movement speed becomes 60, but what if I dash again as a bonus action? Does my speed become 90ft or 120ft?

"When you take the Dash action, you gain extra movement for the current turn. The increase equals your speed, after applying any modifiers." The increase is additive, not multiplicative. And you're not adjusting your speed, you're using it again. So your speed is 30, and it stays 30, but you can move your speed twice (movement+action), or three times (movement+action+bonus action).

Basically, there is a difference between movement and speed. Speed is like a stat, movement is what you do with that stat.
Dash gives you additional movement equal to your speed, it does not double your speed.
Ohhhhhh, I understand now, thanks.
Thanks
