Would the light from a sunblade negate the darkness spell? If you were to craft such a weapon you'd need to use a spell that creates magical sunlight, and they're all of much higher levels than darkness. I'm guessing the sunblade's light would suppress the spell for as long as they overlapped, without actually dispelling it. Any thoughts on the matter?

Indeed, the light of Sun blade, being magical and not from a spell of 2nd level or lower, can illuminate an area of Darkness.
