So I done goofed and picked Elven Accuracy as my feat, misreading it and thinking I would get advantage on an attack roll using Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma, but really I only get a reroll if I already have advantage. The only problem is that as a Cleric, I don't get attack advantages often. I am currently armed with a short bow so if I go in for a sneak/surprise attack or I am above my target, I'll have advantage. Is there any other way I could get advantage with an attack? Currently my Half Elf Grave Cleric is wearing scale mail and armed with a mace and a staff (that I use like a quarterstaff). Going to try to trade in the scale mail and mace for other stuff next session for story reasons. Really want to try and make this work and not have it be a total wash. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry, not much to really do on a cleric. You could try using Guiding Bolt, I suppose, or Crossbow Expert after someone else knocks the target prone. There might be other tactics, but they're going to be hard to pull off. Furthermore, by level 5, you'll be doing just as much damage with Sacred Flames, and level 8 doing more with the cantrip than with the bow. As you continue to grow in level, you'll be relying less and less on the weapon and more on spells.
I'd honestly recommend asking to swap out the feat.
Ally before your turn uses Help -> you cast Guiding Bolt or Inflict Wounds. You can even ready Path to the Grave or Guiding Bolt -> Ally before your turn uses Help -> take your reaction -> Inflict Wounds. If the party has a wizard or warlock, the ally can be their familiar.
Other easy options for advantage include Hold Person (if it's humanoid), Faerie Fire, Entangle, Ensnaring Strike, a Monk's Stunning Strike, or an ally knocking your target prone (assuming you're within 5 feet of it.)
Though this seems like chasing dead money, you can take Magic Initiate with your next feat and learn Find Familiar and get advantage via it using the Help action.
But really, have another chat with your DM. It's a game and supposed to fun. While there should be no take-back consequences for decisions you make in-game, this is more of an out of game mechanical error.

Well, back when I was building my character and I was bouncing things off of him. At a certain, point he wouldn't let me change certain aspects of my backstory. Come to find out as the story started he based the main thread of the campaign around my backstory. So I feeling that the reason he won't let me change my feat is cause it'll be useful later.

Can you pick a different feat? You probably haven’t used it yet, so swap it out for something else.

My DM won’t let me switch feats. I already asked.
That blows. In my games I let player's swap out stuff like that, provided they haven't used it yet. Your DM sounds like a hardcase.
