The Eldritch Adept feat has not been updated, so according to current guidance we should continue to use the Tasha's version. The "Pact of the . . ." Warlock class features have been moved to invocations in 2024 and they do not list any prerequisites.
By my reading we should be able to pick Pact of the Tome as an Adept invocation. DnD Beyond does not list them when creating a character. Not sure if this is just a bug in the software or if I missing something that makes this not allowed.
I am leaning toward a software issue with mixing 2024 classes and Tasha's content. I added a 2024 Warlock with Eldritch Blast and invocations that require that as a prerequisite did not show up as Adept options, but if I add a 2014 Warlock with EB they do. So it looks as though the Adept Feat is looking to the 2014 Invocations list.
(PS I am just looking for Eldritch Blast without taking the multiclass dip. This is going to be for an Adventurers League character so everything has to be strict RAW.)
This does seem to be a bug. Can't see any rule that would prevent taking a Tasha's feat that doesn't appear in the 2024 Player's Handbook, and since the Pact invocations lack prerequisites, they should be eligible for the feat.
I have noticed that I cannot choose pact of the blade when adding eldritch adept. Has the dnd beyond group talked about fixing this? Because it is still jot working.
The Invocations are kind of a buggy mechanic on the DNDBeyond Character creator. Because the invocations are class features, the 2014 and 2024 invocations don't interact in any way on the character sheets. As of yet, there is no support for taking 2014 invocation on the 2024 Warlock, nor is there support for taking 2024 invocations with the Eldritch Adept feat. This is one spot where you just have to either do your own book keeping, or create a Homebrew Solution to add to your character sheet (like creating a custom feat called "Eldritch Adept - Pact of the Tome").

Thanks for any thoughts.
