Do the damages stack, so with both feats would a heavy crossbow do +10 damage?
As SagaTympana said, the old GWM was limited to melee weapons only. The new GWM and SS both lost the -5 +10, Sharp shooter no longer gives any bonus damage whereas GWM gives bonus damage equal to proficiency bonus on a main action attack with a heavy weapon and can give a bonus action attack to a melee weapon if a creature was reduced to 0HP or the weapon was used on a critical hit within the same turn.
You gain all the bonuses of Sharpshooter too a Heavy Cross bow and the bonus proficiency damage of GWM if using both feats but such a set-up would also require the crossbow expert feat, if using the weapon with a class that has extra attack, due to how extra attack is essentially blocked by the loading property.
SagaTympana is right. However, the new version of GWM adds your Proficiency Bonus to the damage rolls of Heavy weapons when you take the Attack action. Heavy Crossbows qualify for that.
Sorry, but yes I was referring to the new feats from Dnd2024, the +10 came from +5 from GWM if you are high enough level and +5 from sharpshooter.
Sharpshooter doesn’t provide any damage bonus, so still no.
RAW, as InquisitiveCoder mentioned, nothing prevents you from getting the proficiency bonus added to damage with the heavy crossbow from Great Weapon Master though. Unsure whether or not that’s intentional.
Longbow also works with 2024 GWM now, which makes sense given the muscular development historical longbowmen needed. It works a wee bit better with GWM and SS than the heavy crossbow, as you don’t need XBE.

No. Great Weapon Master doesn’t have the +10 damage bit anymore, and the old version requires a melee attack.

The only way thedamage bonus could stack is if DM use Sharpshooter 2014 and Great Weapon Master 2024.
