Cantrip spell such as True Strike, Green Flame Blade and Booming Blade that require a weapon as part of the spell, does weapon master come into play?
Example 2024 Arcane Trickster, main hand short sword and off hand scimitar.
Use a magic action to cast true strike. Can we use Nick / Vex to move our off hand attack w/ advantage to the magic action or does Nick/Vex not come into play and off hand attack stays as a bonus action because the action was "magic" rather than "attack"
Maybe a way to ask this question is, does Weapon Mastery Properties still activate when a weapon a PC has an active mastery in is a component of a spell during a Magic Action?

You have to look at the exact wording of the weapon mastery property. Nick, for instance, says "When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action." That explicitly says "Attack action", meaning it can't be used as part of the Magic action.
On the other hand, Vex just says "If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature..." which would apply to any attack made with the weapon that hits and does damage, whether that hit was part of an Attack action, a Magic action, a Bonus Action, a Reaction, etc.
