Just wanted a deeper understanding on integrated defense. Reading the definition would you consider it armor that sets base ac to 11 which other armors stack on top of?
The wording
"Integrated Protection
Your body has built-in defensive layers, which can be enhanced with armor"
Anything that gives you a "bonus" to AC will stack on top of any other armor you are wearing (or natural armor).
If you have more than one item or feature that says something like "your AC = ", then you only get to pick one of these calculations to use before adding any bonuses.
Hello everyone,
Just wanted a deeper understanding on integrated defense. Reading the definition would you consider it armor that sets base ac to 11 which other armors stack on top of?

You need to look at the actual rules text.
Integrated Protection just says
This stacks with any other protection.
Anything that gives you a "bonus" to AC will stack on top of any other armor you are wearing (or natural armor).
If you have more than one item or feature that says something like "your AC = ", then you only get to pick one of these calculations to use before adding any bonuses.
Correct but is it considered armor?
There's nothing there saying that the +1 bonus to AC counts as armor, so it doesn't count as armor.
