AU’s Adept Feats and class spells

Since then, in one of the threads in the Bugs & Support forum, it was confirmed that the intent was for the spells to use the class spellcasting ability; they're in the process of fixing it right now. They are re-implementing each feat as three separate ones (Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma) and I believe the idea is that each class will only have access to the one appropriate to their spellcasting ability.

 It's more that they aren't added to the spellcaster class list in my take, which would match the precedent set by Fey, Shadow, and Vampire Touched at least.

That's my read on it too. Feats that grant spells don't generally make them "class spells" of any particular class, maybe just because it would get weird for multiclass characters with multiple class spell lists.

 

Except the most similar way to access such a large number of spells, dragonmarks, does make them class spells for all your classes.

I don't even know that this is exploitable.  You're going to choose the spellcasting class with the highest attribute modifier in practice.

 The Dragonmark feats explicitly call that out though. The Adept feats don't. The comparison is a false one just from that alone.

The problem is the adept feats also don't do the other thing either, which is tell you to choose a spellcasting stat for them.  We're literally into houserule territory just to figure out how you cast the spells.

 That's why my interpretation is a guess at how it was meant to be written and it's likely missing a line, rather than saying this is RAW.
