If I Commission a vial to hold more than 1 serving (4 ounces) of acid does the damage go up by how many ounces of acid their is? Trying to make ammunition for a Siege weapon
The way I see it is there can be two schools of thought here.
First: An increase in acid amount will proportionally increase the amount of flesh effected, and thus will increase the damage.
Second: The amount of Acid created does not do more damage as acid will only do so much damage to a thing as it can in a period of time as the reaction cannot be sped up.
So yeah, present your argument to the DM and see what they will allow.

That's entirely up to your DM to make a call for their campaign. There's no standard rule for it.
