While looking over the "Disarm" Action Option in the DMG, I noticed the "Mark" option. I'm not sure I'm reading it correctly, since it appears to simply be free Advantage and a free extra Reaction (only cost is making a melee attack). Am I misinterpreting it, or is it just a straight out buff to melee?
Marking someone makes opportunity attacks against them have advantage and not take up your reaction. It makes opportunity attacks easier at the expense of more bookkeeping.
