Hello to all, How are you doing? I hope good. The reason I am making this thread is because i'm about to play a beastmaster Kobold who mounts his Pteradon, and I cant find the rules for mounting. Could someone tell me what they are? For example: If I mount my Pteradon, do I get to move using it's speed instantly? Can I attack from it's back? If it doesn't provoke Oppurtunity attacks, could I slice up an enemy with 2 daggers, then fly away without getting harmed?
But ask your DM first. There are a lot of caveats in those rules as to what can and can't be used as a mount, and I would as DM absolutely deny the request to ride a pteranodon companion as an early level ranger (because flying is OP and a complex mess). Maybe with some more advanced levels and longer periods of training with the mount.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
