So im looking into a tabaxi warlock/monk with 3 levels of warlock. Archfey patron, pact of tome, tome of ancient secrets invocation.
My main question being, how many spells and rituals can i learn with only 3 levels of warlock? Am i correct in assuming that i can learn every possible lv 2 or lower ritual with book of ancient secrets? Any other clarifications, concerns or advice welcome.
I dont have a phb and everything i read online is inconclusive. I just want to know if i have a limit on the number ritual spells i can learn. What i have read states you can write down any ritual you come across in the toas, It dosent say how many. Granted there arent many at lv 2, but having access to all of them seems a tad...op maybe?
I know this question seems stupid, but im trying to plan out what spells and cantrips to combo with a shadow monk and what levels to dual class at without taking anything redundant.

There is no limit on the number of rituals you can copy into your Book of Shadows if you have the Book of Ancient Secrets invocation. It essentially works the same way as a wizard's spellbook (except you can only copy down rituals and don't get any on level-up, but you can copy them from any class' spell list); the primary limitation, besides your warlock level, is time and money. There's no space limitation.
The invocation tells you all you need to know:
You can now inscribe magical rituals in your Book of Shadows. Choose two 1st-level spells that have the ritual tag from any class’s spell list (the two needn’t be from the same list). The spells appear in the book and don’t count against the number of spells you know. With your Book of Shadows in hand, you can cast the chosen spells as rituals. You can’t cast the spells except as rituals, unless you’ve learned them by some other means. You can also cast a warlock spell you know as a ritual if it has the ritual tag.
On your adventures, you can add other ritual spells to your Book of Shadows. When you find such a spell, you can add it to the book if the spell’s level is equal to or less than half your warlock level (rounded up) and if you can spare the time to transcribe the spell. For each level of the spell, the transcription process takes 2 hours and costs 50 gp for the rare inks needed to inscribe it.
You still need to find the rituals written down somewhere (spell scrolls, wizard spellbooks, other tomelocks' Book of Shadows, ritual books of those with the Ritual Caster feat) before you can copy them down.
Note that there is no guarantee that you will ever find any other ritual spells after gaining this class feature. It wouldn't hurt to check in with your DM about how often you might be likely to find a ritual recorded, or ask them if you could have your character actively searching for more ritual spells and perhaps there could be mini-quests involved to find some. A reasonable DM should be willing to give you some feedback on this that will help you make your decisions.

Yup, can't stress that enough. Without a cooperating DM, the Book of Ancient Secrets invocation is pretty meh: just two 1st level rituals. With a cooperating DM, though, it can be pretty awesome. So definitely check with your DM beforehand. In fact, checking with your DM should be S.O.P. when making a Warlock: Warlocks depend on short rests for their spells, so any campaign that focuses on daily big fights, rather than multiple smaller encounters throughout the day, will make the Warlock feel underpowered; Tomelocks with Book of Ancient Secrets depend on the DM doling out Spell Scrolls or other ritual spell sources for scribing; Chainlocks will want to check with their DMs regarding what their familiars can be expected to do (both in and out of combat).

Thankyou so much! That clears up all my questions then! Just gotta prioritize which ones to go for first!
