If they were animated by an ally... yes? (always check with your DM).
The spell makes them creatures, even if it is only temporarily, and if cast by an ally they would be on your side of the fight, so allies. All the requirements of sneak attack are met according to RAW.

I am the DM. We just try to play RAW and RAI as much as possible.
And yeah, that's how I read it too.

Blood Frenzy. The quipper has advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature that doesn't have all its hit points.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage.
You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
The rules don't have a special definition for the word "enemy", so it means whatever the word normally means in everyday English. If the caster of Animate Objects is an enemy of your target, it stands to reason any creatures under their control are also enemies of your target. I don't see why anyone would try to argue otherwise.

Cool. That's how my group and I were reading it, but we just wanted to make sure there wasn't something we were missing. Thanks!

Animate Objects turns objects into creatures. Do those creatures count as allies for the purposes of sneak attack?

Here's the relevant portion of Sneak Attack:
