Is it a free action, bonus action, or action to draw or stow a weapon?
I haven't been able to find information on this and my character is about to become a duel wielder so I am curious, because I have to know. I am aware of the Duel Wielder feat which allows one to draw two weapons at the same time when one could be drawn before, but I still don't know what type of action it is to draw a weapon.
You get 1 free item interaction per turn (it is weird and not really explained well). The list of things you can do with that interaction can be found here:
You can draw or stow a single weapon for free, per round, as a part of an action or movement. If you need to draw or stow more than one weapon in a round, you need to use your action to accomplish it.

You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
So this question is pretty straight forward.

There is an exception to this is if you take the Dual Wielder feat which allows you to draw/stow two weapons instead of just one.
