Wasn't sure where to place this - appreciate any help people can provide. Have been alerted to the fact by some players that some UA material on the wizards website is not on the builder, but some content (even much more recent content) is available on the builder. This is despite having "Playtest Content" selected in character creation.
So to the title question, when does UA content stop being playtest material? See that some UA content later gets released in a different official form, which is understandable, but some seems to just be missing? Gothic Heroes UA release was the first one pointed to as potentially missing from the playtest content.
I guess my question changes a bit to when something is considered abandoned or archived, though I take from the article that dndbeyond folks consider anything prior to January 2018 archived/abandoned (don't see a section on wizard's UA content for active vs. archived playtest material, though certainly could have missed something).

Thanks!
UA content stops being playtest material when it gets published.
Anything from before January 2018 isn't available because it was either published or abandoned by WotC. Anything that's been published since then also got pulled too if I remember right.
Okay, thank you for the link and response.

There's no official policy but if it hasn't been published or revised in over a year it's probably been abandoned.
Okay, thank you for linking that!
Guess we can try to look at mirroring things in homebrew.
Yep. Just dont publish it.
