There's no exception built into the item, so no, characters can't see each other. Your DM might rule otherwise, but the party should probably find a way to stick together, or would probably have to make some noise to locate/not bump into each other ;)

Can party members under a group invis (dust of disappearance) see each other or know where each other is/are etc?
An invisible creature can't be seen, doesn't matter who's doing the looking. Dust of Disappearance doesn't make any exceptions to that rule.
