Does casting a concentration spell from a scroll negate the need to maintain concentration?
No, if the scroll, magic item, or feature does not say otherwise, concentration spell needs concentration. This is stated in the DMG:
The spell uses its normal casting time, range, and duration, and the user of the item must concentrate if the spell requires concentration.
