Yes. I found this by searching for a little under 1 minute:
A driver proficient with land vehicles can add its proficiency bonus to ability checks and saving throws made using the infernal war machine’s ability scores.
There might be more that apply in PHB somewhere, but this is all that is mentioned in BG:DiA. (It literally took longer to write this comment than it took to CTRL-F "land v" and find the answer...)
An infernal war machine doesn’t have actions of its own. It relies on crew to occupy stations and use their actions to operate the vehicle’s various functions. Any option that appears in the Action Stations section of an infernal war machine’s stat block requires an action to perform.
How is the attack and damage bonuses determined on these action stations? Is it based on the stats of the crew member operating that station, or the vehicle stat block? If it's the vehicle stat block, which do you use, because based on looking at the premaid vehicles with the bonuses already listed, I can't tell how they came up with those numbers. Thanks in advance

Are players attempting to use infernal machine in Descent into Avernus require or benefit at all from proficiency in Land vehicles?
