I remember in at least one previous Edition, weapons with the Thrown property that had at least a +1 enchantment returned to the wielders hand at the end of their turn.
Does such a rule exist in 5E? I can't seem to find anything one way or the other.

returning was a specific ability you had to have on your weapon in previous editions. The only way to do it in core is if you play an eldritch knight.
That or get a Dwarven thrower.
And boomerang if you miss.
