if your proficient do you still not add proficiency?

if you’re asking about the damage done by a weapon with which you are proficient, then no: your proficiency bonus is added to the attack roll but not the damage roll.
I've got a similar problem with the ranger in my Dragonqueen campaign: He's got 16 Dex (+3), is level 4 (Proficiency +2) and has the archery fighting style (+2 ranged attacks). D&DBeyond shows a +13 (!) to hit. It should be +7, right? Refreshing hasn't helped so far, so I guess that leaves me with manually altering the value. Any other advice?
