I'm just wondering about the specifics of the tarrasque regeneration.
If you kill it and take its hide or something for armor. Then, awhile later someone kills it and incinerates it with fire, is the hide now the biggest peace that will become a tarrasque? Or does it not count since its from the tarrasque from the previous "cycle."
Also, lets say you kill it to -30 hp, but during the fight its eyeball flew like 1000 ft away. When you use wish do you just prevent the pieces of the tarrasque you can see from regenerating? So the eyeball could still regenerate. Or does it prevent all current pieces of the tarrasque from regenerating, regardless of location, sphere, or plane?
If you were a massive *******, could you use wish to cause two pieces of the tarrasque to separately regenerate?
If you answered yes to the first question and no to the second, if someone kills the tarrasque with wish does your hide armor still become a tarrasque?
Are all these questions just up to the DM? I really want there to be a concise answer. :(
Wasn't tarrasque regeneration something from older editions? I remember someone telling me that in some older edition you had to cast Wish twice on a tarrasque to keep it from coming back.
