Potions that do not mention a spell, do not require concentration. Potions that mention a spell that does not require concentration, do not require concentration. Potions that mention a spell and say (no concentration), do not require concentration. But a potion that references a concentration spell without stating (no concentration) does require concentration. To my mind that includes:
Bottled Breath
Clairvoyance
Mind Control (any)
Mind Reading
Is that right? Only 4 potions that those complicated rules state need concentration.
The DMG says under “spells” cast using magic item that potions bypass the casting of a spell and the effects last for their “usual” duration. I would say that if the “usual” duration is tied to concentration then the potion version would too.
theres probably room to disagree though, in which case the duration would be for the spells listed duration in full

Sounds right to me.
