So I made a Variant Human Rogue with the Feat Magic Initiate (Wizard) Find Familiar is his 1/day spell, Now for my question. If I take the Ritual Caster (Wizard) Feat at a later level can I add Find Familiar as a Ritual spell to my Ritual book I get with 2 Ritual spells, I understand paying the 50 gold and taking the time to add the spell to the book thus having 3 ritual spells in it. Or do I have to Take Find Familiar as one of my 2 ritual spells?
With the Magic Initiate feat you know Find Familiar, so yes, I think inscribing it in the Ritual Book does not count against the two initial rituals you can choose.
Magic Initiate lets you learn a spell, but it doesn't involve a spellbook or other written form of said spell; you can simply cast it once after a long rest.
Now observe the wording of Ritual Caster. You can add spells you find in written form.
So, sadly, you can't add your Magic Initiate's Find Familiar to your ritual book, unless you have a means to transfer it to written form (such as Scribe Scroll) or buy a scroll for it. Or pick it as one of the two spells you get from Ritual Caster.
I agree with what Onyx has said on the matter. I would also like to add that with Xanathar's Guide revising downtime activities, the extra step needed to get the find familiar you know from magic initiate into your ritual book from ritual caster is only to be proficient in the Arcana skill and take 1 day and 35 gp (25 for the process, plus the 10 to cover the material component of the spell) to scribe a scroll that you can then turn around and inscribe into your ritual book.
However, if you don't mind waiting on the familiar or the cantrips, I would suggest switching the character around so you either take magic initiate first and pick a spell other than find familiar as the 1st level spell so you could choose it as one of your two rituals when taking ritual caster later, or take the ritual caster feat first and magic initiate later, so that the end result is having both find familiar as a ritual and some other cool spell to cast once per long rest, since that is more beneficial than doubling-down on find familiar.
