The pathwalkers attempted to Apease it but failed, they asked the wayfinder as they had experience in dealing with spirits and after weeks of negotiations they came to an agreement with the spirit. The spirit would let anyone lead by a wayfinder pass. The pathwalkers were outraged by this and assumed that the wayfinders had manipulated the spirit. Words were said and the factions grew distrustful of each other. After a time mercenary were hired by both factions and blood was split. After a time the spirit felt it had done enough and left the area but it had completed it’s goal.
Eventually an agreement was signed but the path was left wild and unused
Windswept a town build on what was known as the lowmoors
they worship Uralter and spirits of wind and storm
They believe that by resurrecting him the spirits will calm down
they send groups to try and infiltrate the storm eyes but they haven’t succeeded
they also have build wind skimers airships enchanted with spirits of wind. They are light and fast but can’t carry much and break easily.
this is pretty nice (might homebrew the wind skimmers)
since their low weight threshold and durability reducing practical use. windswept plays a host of sports with the device including simple racing,stunts and a ball passing game similar to soccer(football if your from the uk).these games are often played of the many large open fields in the town and mostly in the rare occasion where the wind is favorable.
At the edge of the Storm´s Eye lies the small town of bloom dale.This little down is full of ruffians and bandits hiding by the impassible storm,it also serves as a hub for expeditions into the eye and is growing fast.The town is full of drama and action from it´s rapid growth,large number of thugs and low law enforcement.The town is run by a council of elders one of which is a animated tree that lies in the center of town.
As their last project one of the mad five created a powerful vampiric breed of zombies known as spell eater vampires.These vampires feed off magic energies and the power of spirits,as well as the blood of spellcasters.Should they collect enough magic they become bloated and split into sepperate spell eaters.
