During the deepest part of winter the wayfinders launch an expedition from windswept to the high moor. It’s one of the most dangerous activities they do on a regular basis and at times entire expeditions don’t return but the knowledge left behind is worth it. The magic items found are also a major source of funding for the groups.
in recent years it has caused friction with the rulers of windswept who believe that they just rile the spirits up. However they’ve been allowed to continue for now
the warriors spirits is a tavern in wayward which is known for two things
1. Good beer
2. it’s quest board
it’s run by one of the only non warbound to win the festival of blood and he uses his contacts to find some of the best quests for new warriors to get some experience on
The record keeper is a powerful gloam fae who takes the shape of a humanoid owl. It lives within a hollowed out tree that holds a library. There’s usually a few fox’s around that deliver/organize it’s books of fox lore. It sees mortals as interesting creatures and is not adverse toward sharing a spell or a piece of knowledge to creatures that can tell a true story in rime or song. If they help collect books of foxlore then it can give the instructions for hidden paths between dimensions that can be used to hasten travel.
all of the info it gives is given as a rime or story and you must make a intelligence or wisdom check to make use of it with a harder DC for the more powerful info.
It might seem like a friendly person but threaten or attack it’s books and it will strike first and without mercy. Like most fae it sees little problem with tricking people into binding contacts. It also dislikes crows and ravens very much.

The Chambers are a humongous dungeon filled with monsters. To navigate the Chambers is impossible. The Chambers used to be a prison but was overrun because of an imp escaping in the form of a spider. The imp freed all the monsters, and the monsters reached the armory for the dead guards. Some of the monsters with access to the armory (the ones of a higher power) have an AC increased by 2. There was a neutal evil archmage who put a curse on the imp. The imp turned into a Beholder. The Chambers are mostly populated by fiends.

a guild focused around putting the pieces of the past into a full picture. They are found to the west particularly in the town of sand’s respite due to goldview’s proximity. They don’t send many agents out in the field but will gladly buy Artifacts of ancient origin and are able to find information about magic items found.
They founded by breaking away from the wayfinder’s as they found their interests lay not in communing with spirits or guiding travelers but with the Secrets of the past.
their only holdings have been a small shop where they help make maps and identify magic items.

Before the apocalypse or after it?
After it. Or if you want it can BE the apocalypse. ^U^ but that's a bad idea
The apocalypse has already been established. If you plan on being active on this thread, I suggest reading the previous pages. I know it’s a lot, but it’s got some really relevant lore.

The most important ones are 1,2,6,7,10,11,15,17. It’s a bit much but you’ll be able to know what’s different
If you have no problem with it, then I’ll start a list of the Mad Five’s names and accomplishments (I made up the other three names and have assigned previously talked-about different fates and accomplishments)
Etheral
Fate: Killed by Wakraw
Accomplishments
Paralyzed an aboleth simply by letting it see his mind
Researched shadow magic
Rovegrym
Fate: Killed by Wakraw
Accomplishments
Created the vampire zombies
Researched shadow magic
Delna
Fate: Resides in the Forest of Secrets
Accomplishments
Created the dragons
Tiverus
Fate: Cursed to wander the planes of the seasons
Accomplishments
Had an apprentice, Falnid Galnarov
Belanados
Fate: Unknown
Accomplishments
Chained the celestial under Dralon Isle
Had an apprentice, Zenlos
I stated earlier that one of the 5 was fabled to still live in a secret sanctum that can only be reached by a magic gate from Mt. Dobyn (or whatever the aberration peak is called). So probably mark that down for Belandos.
