I'm getting ready to run Frozen Sick in advance of the Netherdeep adventure. One of my players wants to play an Uthodurnian whose lineage is elven on his mother's said and dwarven on his father's side. Has anybody seen or created a name for that lineage? I've seen references to "dwelf" and "half-blood", neither of which I particularly care for. What have others seen? Built a customer lineage on DDB? Thanks!
"While an elf & dwarf may indeed produce offspring, the curiously stubborn nature of both ancestries produces a child that is either an elf or a dwarf, though a child of either race often inherits minor physical attributes from the other parent. Such children are affectionately referred to as attalwen, or 'two-hearted'."
- Mechanically nothing has to change of the standard game "race". Both races are too stubborn and the children are either one or the other not really a hybrid. Pick if you are more elf or more dwarf in appearance and go with that. Feel free to give them minor physical attributes from the other parent. Like elf with a beard or dwarf with pointy ears. This is the easiest to do. -They could easily make a custom lineage and have whatever they like. Pretty simple and gives the player more control over the character. -You could also just swap out racial features: like a High Elf with Dwarven Combat Training or Stone Cunning or a Mountain Dwarf with Fey Ancestry or Trance features. And anything in between.

Lean into it! "I'm... well, Mum was an elf, Dad was a dwarf, and whatever the **** that makes me, that's me."
Has the player said if they have a preference? Since they want to play the character, they might have an idea of what they want to call themselves
