Hi everyone, I'm having a hard time trying to create a creative background for my bard satyr. I understand what satyr culture is generally like but I can't make up a story about it. I have a big picture idea of what my character is but nothing fleshed out.

I like that satyrs are party animals, flirty, curious, sociable and are just happy people. In Greek culture, satyrs stay with their dryad mothers until they have to venture out and look for their dad's band. I want to work with something along that line too. The satyr is a bard just because I think it's fitting. Satyr bands are also only allowed 1 bard per group (don't wanna hog all the fun), if that helps with the character concept. 

Start with a general attitude towards specific situations and ideas. Then work backwards from there. What made your character that way? Does having no father for their upbringing mean anything for their personality, or not, seeing as it’s normal?
