I've been looking at the Horror Trinket Table and one sticks out to me. Most of the items are either cliché spooky items or everyday items that have a curse.
But 66 is so outlandish and specific in its description by comparison that I feel that it has to have more to it.
Horror Trinket 66: A moist coral figurine of a lamprey with arms, legs, and a bipedal stance
Well, you have to take into whole what a Horror Tricket represents, as it is of a special significance to you. You are a "Haunted One" meaning you are haunted by something so terrible that you don't speak about it, the event has basically pushed you to the edge of sanity. Actually the doll is not really much out of the ordinary, especially if you compare it to the other items. Personally, I have used the #30 Key to the Family Crypt a few times as a plot hook or a Macguffin. But at least half of the items can be used as spell components.
#66: "A moist coral figurine of a lamprey with arms, legs, and a bipedal stance."
To break it down. "Moist" suggests that it never gets dry, so possibly haunted by some limited magic(Not necessarily active)
"Coral" is a color similar to pink.
"Figurine" which could be a pupple, doll, effigy, or even a manikin but it is probably no bigger than 12" due to the word they used.
A bipedal lamprey references 2 possibilities. H.P. Lovecrafts Cthulhu horror mythos, or a Mind Flayer.

I am not sure what my Spirit Animal is. But whatever that thing is, I am pretty sure it has rabies!
I think you're right it's likely sea coral fashioned into the figure, given the nature of the figure. Now a lot of sea coral is pinkish, but a lot also isn't. It'd be a fun talisman to bring into something like the CR Netherdeep book, or any seaside game that may involve the worship of a leviathan or something else from the deep deep sea.

I forgot coral was a color. I was thinking the figurine was made of a type of sea coral.
