the lamball cult are a group that warship the great lamby the god of society. lamby also has been refered to the lord of tricks and trade. people of this cult are often a choatic person who reject society or people who are seen as crazed maniac with none in between the to end. cultist of this god are unlike other cult very civil and willing to debate with foe instead of going to combat with there end goal to bring their lord back into power. many fear them since the cultist know some trick and even some of the greatest adventurer refuse to handle the cultist. but not that some leave the cult and many cultist see this an act of a traitor before they leave the cult they have there robe sown on them to make sure that all know that the traitor refused a perfect society.
also quick mention. the cultist robe are made out only the nicest of wool so it is not that bad of a punishment. and this did not mean to come from cult of the lamb only well working on the game did i notice it seemed like it to the idea of cult of the lamb

A young storyteller who wanders the lands of lore, weaving a tale at every request. Has a lot of Cramorants. Major twenty one pilots fan. Certified Joker. Writer of Very Fishy Diaries and huge Lemony Snicket fan. He/him. A Warrior of Words, Vindicator of Vocabulary, Paladin of Poetry, and a Lancer of Language.
Skavians are hardy. They have learned to survive from the bare minimum of resources. Forgotten and unknown, their groups in the windy, lonely deserts forge onward through the sand swirling around them and the hardships brought upon them. They know of the unnaturalness and unholiness of something around them, but don't investigate because of fear. They believe they are a cursed people, trapped in the confines of the desert. Their culture is based around appeasing the darkness that they feel. They believe that someday, if it becomes finally happy, it will remove their curse and they will be free.
They believe the wind is the Messenger of Shadow, carrying the Evil One's messages to them. The elders of the group decipher the shape of the dunes into messages and meanings, of what the Evil One is craving and what they wish for the Skavians to do. Mostly, they sacrifice precious meat on huge flaming pyres or sit in circles for days on end, watching water evaporate. Twice a year, or during an eclipse, they will carve a slate of quartz into a perfect sphere and bury it under the largest dune, then pour a week's worth of water onto the dune.
In art, they usually interpret the Evil One as a flaming sphere, but instead of producing heat and light, it sucks up heat and light and devours it. They draw these as glyphs in the sand and huge symbols in cliffsides. The Evil One is also often divided into three parts; Heart, Soul, and Core.
To avoid being transformed or corrupted by the Mirrorverse's horrid effects(and the part of the god's soul), they have found that washing themself in water tainted by scorpion blood cleanses them. The tides of the darkness ebb and flow constantly, so they wander the desert constantly to avoid being trapped in the shadow and devoured by its form.
They have nicknamed the creatures that have sprung from their thoughts of fear Stalkers. They have many forms, but they always have a few distinct features. Fierce, critical eyes that imply that the target must have done something wrong, a shadowy figure that can't quite be identified, and a daunting aroura of anxiety.
When a Skavian dies, they are buried under the largest dune while all of the Skavians across the entire desert sit in a perfect circle in complete silence for three days.
Ooh, I love the description! I can picture them and their lifestyle really well. So, would one objectively say the Skavians (or Stalkers) are evil? Are they violent or tyranical in any way that would make it so if they came upon a settlement in the desert, or a traveler, would they have reason to kill or harm them? I am asking cause I was wondering their relations with other creatures (which is probably how I should have started stating the question).
Oh, a little context. In this world, creatures are created from emotions, so that's how the Stalkers were born.
They are 100% not evil. To put it frankly, they are in a bad place. And they believe they can never leave. They are hidden by a huge wall of fog, so other creatures don't really know they exist. They aren't one race(species, whatever) collectively; instead, their built up of almost every race from across the realms. When they find another traveler(which has happened only once because its my character's backstory), they treat them as a blessing from the gods.
Ahh I see, makes sense. I was curious what an encounter with a Skavian would be like. Now I know ;) I like it!
I have been offline for a while, busy with life stuffs lol

I have made a huge homebrew setting that I am still working on putting here in DDB. Please give me feedback, I want to know all of what I am doing wrong, and what I am doing right. The thread is a huge work in progress, so everything in it from content to layout is subject to change. Please check this forum:Welcome to Zionderia
Also I have a fun thread that explores an idea about dreams based off the movie Inception. I still need to add the link but stay tuned.

This seems cool, so uh. Gods of Styxia & some history.
"Styxia" is the name of my Homebrew setting, just for clarification.
IN THE BEGINNING.
Before anything had any meaning, much less form or shape, the universe was a void of primal, arcane chaos surging through the nothingness in "currents" of sorts. Through the countless collisions of various currents, the first things were made: Monarchs (name still being workshopped; feel free to give me other ideas!). Hastur, Labyrinth, and Atolep- I'll go through each in time.
Starting with Labyrinth - Architect of worlds. He created nearly all of the matter that makes up the "world," the exception being Hastur's Firmament, which I'll talk about later. Out of all of his creations, his greatest is the Nucleus - The collection of all the leftover arcane energy from the beginning of the universe. The Nucleus is similar to a star - A massive, volatile sphere int he center of the universe - Though it's lifetime is infinite and it gives off waves of arcane energy, the source of spellcasters for the campaign. In addition to the Nucleus, Labyrinth created the Tiber (a never-ending slow river containing the souls that were generally neutral in life - Not enough good, not enough evil) and Nephilim (a vast, black swamp that rots anything it touches. Where evil souls go to... "rest").
Atolep was the last of the three Monarchs to be created. She gave life to the worlds that Labyrinth created, creating Humanoids in her image and giving them animals and beasts (prominently dragons) to eat and challenge. I don't have as much on her as I do the other two Monarchs, but nothing here is final, so she'll get more lore soon. Probably.
Hastur, First of Gods, made (depending on how you see it) the largest and smallest contributions to the world. While Atolep gave life to the worlds, Hastur gifted mortals their consciousness, separating Humanoids, giants, etc, from the beasts that knew only instinct. Aside from this, he also made the aforementioned Firmament - Essentially Elysium, or Heaven, I guess.
A BIT AFTER.
As with all things, the Monarchs were eventually lost to time. Temples in their name slowly lost their clerics, their religions slowly lost their luster. Labyrinth had long accepted this before the other two could, disappearing thousands of years prior to the campaign, leaving his Clerics with no God. Atolep is still the most celebrated of the three, keeping up a consistent following of roughly 10,000 people. Hastur, though, did not take to being forgotten nearly as easily. He felt - As the being that allowed mortals to think in the first place - He should always be placed first, before anything else. With that, he went to Styxia and, in one fell strike, shattered the world into the three continents (Atheans, Jerus, Gaia) that there are today. In an attempt to stop Hastur from destroying the planet, Atolep sealed him within Sheol - A self-contained void which constantly changes locations, never to be found, lest Hastur be re-released and wreak havoc on Styxia.
..And that's pretty much it for now.
