Im playing a Scourge Aasimar Oath of Vengeance Paladin who serves Tyr in a Tomb of Annihilation campaign and I was thinking it would be really cool to have some Celestial words and phrases he could say as he’s casting a spell or smiting an enemy. The problem is I couldn’t really find a good online Celestial dictionary to use so I decided to create my own. I’ve never created a language or dictionary before and to be honest the inner mechanics of language kind of confuse me so I figured I’d let you all look at it and see what you thought of it. The inspiration for the language was mainly Elvish with a little bit of Latin sounding parts. Any advice, tips or suggestions are welcome and appreciated thanks!
Did something similar with my Cambion Illrigger character, expect using Infernal. However, I cheated and simply pulled up a Klingon dictionary. You could use Enochian to do the same for Celestial, or at least to pad out what you already have
I just use Latin for Celestial. Sylvan is French. Dwarves speak either Spanish or Arabic (depending on their origin). Gnomes speak Australian. Abyssal is Polish. Orcish is Lithuanian. Infernal is a mix of Czech and Slovak. Halflings speak either Fargo-midwestern or South Boston (depending on their origin). Goblinoid is Bronx. Dragonborn is a mix of Greek, Babylonian, and Sumerian. Shadowfellian is Romani. Tabaxi is either ancient Egyptian or Japanese (depending on their origin). Giant is a mix of Germanic dialects. Firbolgs speak Berkshire ("Pepperidge Fahms remembahs.")

I think that orcs are German or Russian because it is a rough language

GPT does perfectly passably with make-believe languages. Sometimes you need to work with it a bit, but it's never yet let me down.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
Second, keep in mind, WoTC has not made any of the "languages" in the game of DND into actual languages they have just given the players alternate alphabets to substitute in for whatever their base language is. So while there are letters for draconic, for example, all draconic is is English (or whatever language your phb is written in) with an alternate font. https://xender.vip/
Three, you can always substitute in an actual language for one of the "languages" of DND. For example, Latin for celestial and German for deep speech.

First, love how you wrote quirks, cracked me up.
