What's the difference between half-dragons and dragonborn?

Hi there, Midgardians!

So my question is what the title says. What's the difference between them?

Thanks in advance. 😊

It depends on setting.  But in general Dragonborn are distant Humanoid descendants of Dragons, similar to Kobolds.   Half Dragons are half breeds, aka first generation.  Now both of these are ignoring magical origins.... like "made by wizards doing experiments", like the one found in the current Monster Manual.

Oh, I see. Thank you ❤️
