I'm new to this forum and I've got a few questions before I start playing D&D (on a Forgotten Realms setting). May I ask how come the Dark Elves with Qarlyn'd haven't been made playable yet, and what's the deal with Rhymanthiin?
If the dark elves where playable, what stats would they have?
that's a pretty cool idea, playing one of the Miyeritari, the offshoot of Drow created by Q'arlynd, who reside in Rhymanthiin, according to the novels?
Dark Elf (Drow) are a playable subrace - page 24 of the Player's Handbook, so probably the closest, for now, however, it's possible that WotC will produce material in the future to cover this.
Thanks m8 but what would their stats be (by speculation)?
I reckon if Q'arlynd and Co. Are back to being the original Ssri Tel-Quessir they should have the same stats as Sun and Moon elves, as they would not have lost their connection to high magic the way drow, wild, aquatic and wood elves have.

They weren't an offshoot of drow, but the drow reverting to what they had been before the descent
