Starlight Magnolia: A rare tree that's almost extinct. They usually grow to be about 25 feet high, and look like ordinary magnolias, except that a flickering golden light sits at the center of each flower. At night, it looks like there are miniature stars in the tree's branches.

All stars fade. Some stars forever fall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homebrew (Mostly Outdated):Magic Items,Monsters,Spells,Subclasses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there was no light, people wouldn't fear the dark.
This simple flower grows like a weed and spreads everywhere (in a similar fashion to a dandelion). The flowers of these plants are dark black and it's roots a powerful posion.
Just for the pun, I made a fuchsillade plant (fuchsia + fusillade) -- a vine that has pink/purple teardrop- or bell-shaped flowers along it. Among the stamens in the center of the flower is a cluster of needles that fire out in all directions when the plant senses a living creature nearby (warmth, not motion, is the trigger), requiring a CON saving throw to avoid falling unconscious if struck.
As fuchsillades are mainly found in swamps, that often equals a drowning death, creating food for the roots of the vine.
