This is one I did for a Seafaring Campaign, I did it as a set of Mini-Journal Entries. She was Cursed with the worst possible luck at Sea, everything that could go wrong somehow did, but she couldn't be away from the sea without feeling like she was being called back to it.
"27th Elient 1469 - My name is Kharisa Shaw, and this is my Journal. I start it this day, upon my 18th birthday. It is the catalog of my life and adventures. I was born 27th Eleint 1451, to Peren and Vareena Shaw. I have two older sisters Eliza, and Mari. My childhood and Early life was not easy. Most kids and my neighbors saw me as different and strange. I was shunned in fear and in hatred from all around me. It all started when I was born, on that day at the exact second I entered the world. All the water within a mile radius froze over briefly. Normally this would be seen as a simple omen, but when you are born on a ship, amongst folk whose entirely lively hoods involve the sea. It's seen as something to be feared, and as I look back over my life as I start this journal I can't help but think them right.
My Parents died after my 1st birthday, they both were on a simple voyage, only a tenday or two at most. My sisters and I were left with my father's closest friends, the Hawkins family. There was an attack by pirates, and no survivors were left behind. The remains of their ship was found floating on the Ocean's waves a tenday later. Both my sisters wept at their loss, but I being so young had no idea what was going on. To this day, I do not remember my Mother's nor my Father's faces let alone their voices.

27th Elient 1471 Today is my 20th birthday, today was supposed to be a happy day. The day I become an adult, and choose a life for myself. Alas, tis not to so. A group of pirates attacked the island my family has called home the last several years. My Adopted father Lucan was killed defending the village, and the pirates press-ganged me into serving amongst their crew, aboard the vessel known as the "Night Wench". I only agreed to this because their Captain promised to leave my Adopted Mother and Sisters alone and unscathed if I did. Happy Birthday to me, I am sorry Uncle Lucan.
~Various Journal Entries of no importance, involving life aboard the "Night Wench"~
19th Mirtul 1473 After 2 years of forced service, I have finally escaped the "Night Wench". Whilst my time has not been completely hell, or unpleasant, and I find myself already missing a few of my Crewmates. It will not be a time of my life that I will look back upon fondly. Currently I am aboard a small rowboat with a few days of supplies. Thankfully as always the sea seems to welcome me, the breeze is fair and the waters calm. I snuck a peek at the Navigator's charts before I left. Thankfully I have always had an eye for maps and geography. If the sea deems it so, I should only be 3 days out from one of the smaller inhabited islands.
21st Mirtul 1473 **** my life, right now of all times, as I look back. My Neighbors may have definitely been right about me being an omen of disaster. This morning, around dawn. I felt my boat rock, just before I was swallowed whole by a GIANT ******* FISH! This may be my last entry in my journal. I do not know, if that is the case. Eliza, Mari I am sorry that I will never get to see your faces again. I go now to join Father, Mother and Uncle Lucan.
Date Unknown It has been somewhere between 4 and 7 days I think, since the Fish swallowed me. I do not know how I have not been digested by now. but I am surviving by eating some of the smaller fish that this monster swallows whole. As well as wreckage from various things it picks up along the way. I have fashioned small shelter. I don't know why I still am trying to survive, but maybe Valkur has some unkown fate for me.
Date Unknown Been roughly 2 tenday since my last entry, still alive somehow. At this point, I never want to see a fish again. If I ever make it out of this behemoth of a beast I swear I will spend my days hunting this ****er and it's kind to the ends of the planet.
Date Unknown Holy Shit! I am free! the Bastard spit me, my boat, and the contents of its stomach up upon the sea. I can see an island in the distance. I am rowing my way there right now. Valkur be praised, it is hopefully inhabited.
24th Kythorn 1473 The island was indeed inhabited, by a simple folk. Mostly fishermen and scavengers. Thankfully they know of the outside world, apparently the occasional Merchant comes by every few months to trade for goods. I was able to find out I had been inside the fish for just over a month. One of the famliies of the tribe have taken me in, and are willing to show me how to survive. I look forward to exploring the island and learning the tribe's ways of survival until the next visiting Merchants.
22nd Nightal 1473 It has been 6 Months since I arrived on the Island, the Merchants have not arrived yet. The tribes people are growing anxious, this is apparently the longest they have gone without the Merchants visiting. I fear my curse may have befallen the tribe for taking me in, that or something foul is happening out upon the seas. I pray to Valkur that this is something as simple as a heavy winter.
10th Alturiak 1474 The Merchants finally arrived, the tribe is relieved and so am I. Apparently it was indeed just a Harsh Winter. Many a ship was frozen in their ports. I managed to strike a deal with the captain of ship. Two years of service in exchange for passage to any location of my choice. I have never been as happy as I am upon this day. Eliza, Mari I may yet return home to you my sweet sisters. I can hardly wait to see your faces, as I walk up the path to Aunt Kaylet's place. The ship's name is "Last Ray of Dawn" a name for Hope if I ever heard one.
18th Alturiak 1474 Turns out my employers aren't just Merchants, they are Smugglers. Welp hopefully this isnt my luck biting me in the ass again...

7th Eleasis 1476 My Service aboard the "Last Ray of Dawn", I stayed on for a few extra months for a couple last little jobs on my way home. This time in a tenday, I will be home and gazing upon Eliz and Mari's smiling faces.
9th Eleasis 1476 WELP, thankfully the prison in Baldur's Gate is kind enough to allow a man to keep his journal. We arrived at port to unload our goods, only to be met by a Patrol of Paladins who had been waiting for us. We accused with charges of smuggling, and the Paladin in charge -A Human Male in his 30's- seemed to have quite the pile of evidence to stack against us. But as luck would have it, the crew and Captain turned on me. Telling the arresting officials I was behind it all, that I had been bribing and paying all of them. So I was the only one taken away in shackles. ******* criminals and thieves, not a single honest soul amongst them anywhere. I have been informed that I will face trial in 4 days, and that I should expect a punishment fitting of my crimes.
13th Eleasis 1476 Today is the day of my trial, if Valkur be willing. Luck will shine upon me. If not, then my life has finally come to an end.
14th Eleasis 1476 HAHAHA I ******* LOVE PIRATES! Apparently a member of a pirate crew was also to be put on trial same day as me. They were to be tried right after me. Apparently their crew unaware of which trial exactly would be the right one, paid several governing authorities and officials to find All men in my cell block Not Guilty. Which luck would have it is just the two of us. Valkur has indeed smiled upon this sailor. Oh the look upon that Paladin's face as the verdict was passed, it was priceless. I can not imagine how he felt knowing that a guilty man was being let go. The Pirate Crew have offered for me to join them, I informed them of my prior experience as well as my skill with navigating and plotting charts, as well as my ability to remember geographical landmarks and draw maps. They were eager to bring me aboard. Tonight I set off upon the "Morning Star" with the crew of Morgana Adams, a very beautiful human woman.
~Various Journal Entries of little importance, involving life aboard the "Morning Star" including a few mentioning romantic encounters with Captain Adams, and multiple run-ins with Paladin Zedekiah Norrington~
19th Marpenoth 1478 I have been aboard the "Morning Star" for 2 years now, this year was particularly harsh as we had to sail farther out into the seas than normal, in search of some great treasure. Several members of the crew have contracted and died of Scurvy. Thankfully due my relationship with Captain Adams, she has seen to it, that I recieve one of the handful of Goodberries our cook is able to create each day. Which has allowed me to not come down with this dreaded affliction.
22nd Marpenoth 1478 We have made land on a small island, it is the first bit of land we have seen in weeks. It hosts a small indigenous tribe of these weird humanoid creatures. None of us speak their language or know what they are. Even our casters ability to Comprehend Languages, seems to lose the translation of their species name. However they speak of a Great Witch, whom they refer to as the Sea Queen, or Sea Mother. They say she may be able to help us. Captain Adams has decreed tomorrow we will cross the island to meet her.
23rd Marpenoth 1478 I met the Sea Queen today, Captain Adams was able to strike a bargain with her, she is aiding us in the search for our treasure. On top of that, this woman privately mentioned to me that she is willing to grant me a single Gift. Apparently my tie to the sea is far stronger than I ever imagined, though she refuses to explain why or how. Unfortunately due to recent events I fear I may have squandered my gift. I asked her if she could bless me against the dreaded Scurvy. As I have seen what it can do to a man, and that is a terrible way to die. She laughed at me, but cast some sort of spell upon. I hope this does what I wish.
24th Marpenoth 1478 The Sea Queen's hut disappeared shortly after we left it last evening, and much to my dismay. Her blessing is more of a curse. We returned to the village, where they had many a fresh fruit, and even tantalizing roasted meats and vegetables. When I reached for a particularly delicious looking apple. The fruit transformed in my grasp, just before I would take a bite. Changing from an Apple into an Orange... I am not sure how I feel about this...
25th Marpenoth 1478 With some experimentation and much laughter from our hosts and the crew. It seems ANY fruit I attempt to eat will transform into 1 of 4 things. Oranges, Lemons, Limes or Grapefruits. Well... The cook and ship's surgeon did say Vitamin C will keep away Scurvy... so.. I kinda got my wish... kinda...
~Various Journal Entries of little importance, involving life aboard the "Morning Star" including a few mentioning romantic encounters with Captain Adams, and multiple run-ins with Paladin Zedekiah Norrington~
5th Tarsakh 1481 It has been 5 years since I joined the "Morning Star", Captain Adams and I have had several romantic encounters over the years. Last evening included. But that is not what this Journal Entry is about. We have finally done it, we found the Lost Treasure that Morgana had been searching for. My share is massive, I do not know what I will ever do with this much Gold. I do have an idea for an item in particular though. Something to remember my sisters by, some kind of Lily...
20th Tarsakh 1481 Morgana, gave the crew a choice today. We can all go our own ways, and retire on our shares of profits, or we can remain together and continue to plunder the world for all its worth. Sadly I have chosen to split away, for safety of Morgana and my friends aboard the "Morning Star". Our most recent run in with Paladin Norrington was our most violent yet. The man actually tried to kill us, and his focus was mostly on me. I fear if I remain, things will only get worse. So with a heavy heart I bid my fair Captain goodbye. This is my last night with the crew of the "Morning Star" and with my radiant Morgana. She has promised it will be one I will never forget, and she assures me I will always have a place by her side if I wish it. I think I will invest my gold in one of those "Banks" I keep hearing so much about. I did pick up an Item, an Enameled Lily, that is magical. I am told that when it is put in one's hair, it animates, tying back the wearer's hair with a living vine with flowers; plucking a single flower from this vine returns it to its inanimate form. I will have to try it out someday, maybe grow my hair a bit for a ponytail.
15th Flamerule 1481 Finally returned home today. Aunt Kaylet's house remains. the Reunion with my famiy was sweeter than I could have ever expected. They missed me, and I had no idea how much I had missed them myself. I was pleased to discover that my Sister Eliza had ended up joining the Church of Valkur, and is now one of the Higher Priestesses of our Region. My Sister Mari, has become a wonderful Craftswoman and Artisan, and as luck would have it. She actually have been the crafter of the little Lily I had purchased months ago. Proven by showing my her crafter's mark which matches the one upon the Lily. I am so proud of my siblings. I spent several hours with my Sisters and Aunt regalling them with tales of my adventures and life since that day now 10 years ago. it is strange to think it has been that long. 10 Years I have been at sea, craving and missing the feel of home around me. The scent of the Cherry Blossoms in the air, and the feel of the dirt and clay beneath my bare feet. I do not think I will ever return to the Sea.
~Various passages of little to no importance~
12th Marpenoth 1483 It has been 2 years since I returned home. My sister continue their lives, and my sister Mari has even gotten married to a wealthy and mostly honest Merchant. Her wedding was grand and beautiful. I myself have taken up a little job of my own. I have become a Cartographer, creating and drafting Maps for many a Crew or Caravan. Maps that I mysel not long ago would have used to navigate the world. I have grown to love my life on land. But alas, every day I gaze up on sea's surface, taste the tang of they salty ocean spray in the port air, and smell the scent of soaked wood and salt in the sea breeze. My bones ache for the buck and creak of a deck at sea. The sea, my harsh and beautiful mistress calls to my soul...
~Various passages of little to no importance~
27th Elient 1484 It is 32nd birthday, today should be happy. My family is with me, I have a successful job. My life is quiet and peaceful. Yet I find myself more and more aching for the life on the sea, and not this life I have on land. I start to wonder if this feeling inside me, is the same feeling my Parents had that always pulled them to the deck of a ship, instead of their home on land. The more I think about it, the more my Mark aches, the more my heart yearns. I fear I may have to leave my family once more....
1st Marpenoth 1484 I can stand it no longer, my dreams are starting to be haunted by peace and bliss on the ocean. I have barely slept in days, and my family grows worried. I told my Aunt how I feel, she looked sorrowful, but knowingly into my eyes. She told me she expected nothing less from the child of a Shaw, one marked by the Storm. She offered me money, but I turned her down. Promising her I would be fine, as one thing I had never told my family, was of the vast share of fortune I had hidden away in the the city of Waterdeep in a Bank. Untouched these last 3 years. So with my Aunt's blessing, my etched Lily from Mari, and a New Tattoo and Blessing of Valkur from my Sister Eliza, I set off once more to the sea. Starting a new adventure abroad on board the ship "Crimson Dawn" under the Dwarf Captain Thoradin Fethrberd. It was a "Privatier" crew aka Pirates, not that I told my family. I joined as the ship's Navigator and Helmsman.
~Various passages of little to no importance, with a few mentions of a fair Human Maiden, whose beauty rivaled Morgana Adams. As well as a couple instances of running into an old foe, Zekediah Norrington.~"
In the year of the Splendid Stag, there was a great war in the underdark amongst the Drow and all other inhabitants. Menzoberranzan wanted all the all creatures to worship Lolth, while the Shadar-Kai, the inhabitants of Chaulssin, dedicated their lives to the Raven Queen. Menzoberranzan invaded the small village of Chaulssin and quickly started to eliminate the inhabitants. Appalled by such a violent slaughter of her people the Raven Queen sent the entire village to the shadowfell. It wasn't just the inhabitants or the invaders that were sent but the houses, temples and all the structures that made up the village. Instructing her people to move to the outskirts of the town, The raven Queen sent the most vicious of beasts of the shadowfell to deal with the invaders. When the creatures left the Shadowfell, the Shadar-kai were left to rebuild and start a new life. The elves trained in combat, to defend themselves from the dangers of the shadowfell and magics to balance life and death. After Centuries and Centuries of growing and developing the town became something that was very rarely called upon by the Raven Queen. Skatha was born centuries after the year of the Splendid Stag and grew up training to serve the Raven Queen and knew no other life. In his young adult life Skatha Quickly became a hunting party leader, going out into the shadowfell to battle Displacer beasts, shades, wraiths and all other sorts of beasts. These parties would hunt for food and gather other essentials that they needed. Skatha was considered one of the best leaders and bravest fighters. After 450 years of Skatha Training to serve his God, he started to believe that he was forgotten, and would never be called upon to serve. This left him believing that the Raven Queen had moved on and was not going to answer any prayers from the town or the elves. Refusing to lead lead parties into the wilderness of the shadowfell, Skatha’s faith quickly depleted, leaving him empty and drained. The entire village took pity on him as they saw the lack of life and luster that was within him. It was at this time that not only Skatha desperately needed a sign to strengthen his faith but the rest of the village prayed that the Raven Queen would create a purpose for him. Skatha ventured out into the shadowfell alone to allow his pain and suffering to end in the way of the warrior, battling the creatures that usually took a party to hunt down. It was at this time that his life changed. As he quietly approached a Wraith he started to feel an unusual sensation, as if he were being elevated without leaving the ground. His vision started to blur and Skatha started to feel an extreme vertigo. When the vertigo ended and his vision cleared up he was in a place that was very unfamiliar to him but was not all that different from the Shadowfell.

The scent of the Cherry Blossoms in the air, and the feel of the dirt and clay beneath my bare feet. I do not think I will ever return to the Sea.

That's only the first page of your whole backstory, right ??? Now show the other pages.... c'mon
Mine character name is Thomson Wilson he a air genasi, he used to e a priest in a small town near the icy mountaines, the worl was in a war against the demons from abyss, the thought that the would be left out of it, but one day, a abyss rift apeared near there town, and hord of demons came out, he was pristing in the curche when this happend, he tried to get to his family but there home was burned t ash and there dead body out side, that night he rewoke his bealives in the od Helm,, and turn to a difrent god, one that brings war and rage....Ares, that night he turn from a nice and loving man, into a blood shed giving beast, only as the sun came fom the horizon he shed a tear, on top a pile of demon and devils corpses.
As a child Sindri was found by his town's Elders playing with the dirt, without even remotely touching it. Understanding Sindri was gifted with minor Earth Manipulation, they sent him to study up at the local Dwarven library to learn more about it.
Already past his teens, Sindri was abducted by a Red Wizard, named David Solovyev, and tossed inside a Combat Pit in Thay, as the Wizard saw in Sindri an innate Telekinetic ability.
Subjected to years of torture through shock therapy, Sindri's body began to adept, nay, absorb, the shocks and making the electricity its own now able to dish it out himself.
Making allies and friends in the Pits, teaching, along with another Dwarf, his language to other gladiators, so that they could reliably communicate and strategize on the battlefield, without their owner or opponents understanding what was being shouted, often resulting in deadly combinations of positioning and attacks.
His flurry of rapid attacks with his Light Hammers, Ellie and Lara earned him the nickname "Madhammer"
After a few years, Sindri was bought by a merchant as a bodyguard, and ultimately set free once they reached the Merchant's hometown of Waterdeep.
Along his travels, he heard tales about The Order of the Silver Gauntlet, which greatly impressed Sindri, so once he was set free, he made his way to their Temple, to apply, swearing the Oath to protect the weak and fight evil, wherever it may show up, receiving as a welcoming gift a Warhammer, now named Isabel, a Maul now named Charlene and a Shield, left unnamed.
Nowadays he enjoys the occasional skirmish flinging Isabel at his foes, unleashing brilliant and radiant fury with Charlene and telling the stories of the Combat Pits and his friends there, in the local taverns and having further developed his Earth and Lightning manipulation, he remembers what the Red Wizard said about the origin of his power: Telekinesis. One day, he will find out.
The idea for this guy, is that his magic focuses on Earth manipulation, stemming from Telekinesis and electricity manipulation, gotten from absorbing years worth of shock Therapy. He will start the upcoming campaign at LVL 7, and once at LVL 8, he will unlock the Levitate spell and Telekinetic feat, fully realizing his telekinetic ability (that the Red Wizard spoke of back in the day). Up to that point, since he believes that, since joining the Order of the Silver Gauntlet where he has received his Warhammer and Maul, these hammers are blessed, resulting in Catapult & Warbond on the Warhammer and True Strike on the Maul, but also the Push and Topple on them. While it's true that True Strike is a manifestation of the Gods' blessing, everything else that sees him manipulating ground and enemy, actually stems from this Telekinesis. And once he has the realization.... shiz gets real
A celestial in the service of Bahamut, Liric was cast down from Celestia for his incorrigible arrogance. (Growing up with dragons wasn't good for his mindset.) Bahamut has trapped him in this weak, mortal form and told him that he'll stay like this for as long as it takes for him to learn humility and perform heroic deeds alongside mortals. However, the servants of Bahamut practice the martial arts in their spare time, and even in this weakened state, Liric is still quite proficient in his old skills.

Plasma, a plasmoid monk that was traversing the astral sea before being forced to flee to ravenloft in Barovia.
Life in da astral sea can be...uhhh odd to put. I grew up raised by me parents. Born from faddah, nurtured by motha, loved by both. They raised me in the husk of a det god, you believe dat? it's wing was veiny and leathery, mostly boney. Dat was my favorite part to spend time on.
They taught me in da monastery carved out into da back bone vertebrae of da husk. I was trained years and years. I stopped counting after so long. My master at the monastery was very cold and distant, yet I felt as though we might have been related.
I continued my training as I entered monkhood. I sought instruction and understanding of existence, and my place in the universes. Learned boundaries and of the astral self within the astral sea. Where I lived and survived among the horrors of da open astral sea, our tight knit community of several species did well to seclude ourselves within the husk of said dead one. Hiding, avoiding, surviving this space zombie plague everyone is caught up in..... and I? was born in the midst of it.
We found the best way to survival, was spacejamming!! Yeah mon!! Once a few friends and I git our hands on a ship, it was smooth sailing and aversion from those zombie bombaclats lemme tell ya brudda. I was captain of Da Sphecodes. We salvaged a wasp ship from wreckage on an astroid one gathering trip.
We lived our lives the best we could this way. Salvaging. Scavenging. Gathering. Bartering. Many trades and many hands met with many deals to secure survival for the next day to come.
Anyways onto da current sitchy-ation me friend.
I awoke as I did for a normal day of my monastic rituals with followers at the monastery, only to see my mother and father were not in our apartment where we lived inside the ribs of da husked one. Maybe dey beat me dere? I rushed to the monastery only to find it empty. Mentor gone. All were gone. I then rushed to my ship, my crew were fighting off the horde of ten necromorphs that swarmed us silently while we slept.
I swarmed the deck, helping them clear it as we skimmed off in me ship. Mr Pancake, my flumf spelljammer piloted. Omniscient, me tiefling first mate was at the forward station using his portent abilities to aid in guiding us through our attack.
Sadly my hadozee members of my crew died, Pancake as well. Omniscient escaped using his plane shift spell. I however had to use our magic mirror. I set the dial above it to shadowfell. It turned black. then suddenly one of dose tings crashed after me in da cargo bay. I scrambled with it da best I could, then I made a break for da Mirror running full fledged through da ting. Necro Boi followed me. I did me best scrappin with in the room full of others. Dey was fightin wit a painter dey was. The necro knocked me cold into a puddle. This, kind cleric arose me from me puddle state, where we finished dealing wit da necro bastard.
The mirror I came through, gone. shattered, destroyed. Me ship, The Sphecodes, (blood bee) lost as well. Me crew gone and dead. Omniscient be missin some where... I've got ta find me first mate...Maybe wit da aid of dese new folk on dis material plane I am now on. Alls dis young bahss knows, is dat he is glad to have made it out wit his possessions and into the arms and hands of a trusty few.
Ever since he was a child he migrated the lands with what few remain of his tribe. Hundreds died on there marches but in order to survive he had to toughen up and learn to fight at a young age. There leader a stern and crazed one was always with them leading him and the others thorough this cruel world for decades no matter there thinning numbers. That is until one day there leader has finally fully snapped giving up on his people, taking what little supplies they had during a battle, and fleeing with some of there most loyal men. This battle started when a human settlement wished for them to leave the area even though a deadly storm was coming and when they refused the town guardsmen fought them. His tribe fought till the last women, men, elderly, and child but in the end all met death on the battlefield that day. The boy now a old man laid on the ground near death with the only thing he saw before he past out was a blurry image of a person walking towards him. In his comatose state he heard whispers from something beyond telling him that he is in luck that today is not his time before he woken the only thing he made out was a skeletal hand holding a balancing scale. When he woke he was already patched up and surrounded by clerics of a god they called Kelemvor. They interrogated him and he told them everything including the dream he had with the skeletal hand and balancing scale. The clerics recognizing there god symbol took this as a sign for them to lead him down a knew path in life in the teachings of Kelemvor but unlike the clerics he was more of a violent one so decided to take this new destiny by becoming a paladin of Kelemvor. He now walk from settlement to settlement enacting Kelemvor will.

This is one I did for a Seafaring Campaign, I did it as a set of Mini-Journal Entries. She was Cursed with the worst possible luck at Sea, everything that could go wrong somehow did, but she couldn't be away from the sea without feeling like she was being called back to it.
"27th Elient 1469 -
My name is Kharisa Shaw, and this is my Journal.

27th Elient 1471
Today is my 20th birthday, today was supposed to be a happy day.
19th Mirtul 1473
After 2 years of forced service, I have finally escaped the "Night Wench".
21st Mirtul 1473
**** my life, right now of all times, as I look back.
Date Unknown
It has been somewhere between 4 and 7 days I think, since the Fish swallowed me.
Date Unknown
Been roughly 2 tenday since my last entry, still alive somehow. At this point, I never want to see a fish again. If I ever make it out of this behemoth of a beast I swear I will spend my days hunting this ****er and it's kind to the ends of the planet.
Date Unknown
Holy Shit! I am free! the Bastard spit me, my boat, and the contents of its stomach up upon the sea. I can see an island in the distance. I am rowing my way there right now. Valkur be praised, it is hopefully inhabited.
24th Kythorn 1473
The island was indeed inhabited, by a simple folk.
22nd Nightal 1473
It has been 6 Months since I arrived on the Island, the Merchants have not arrived yet. The tribes people are growing anxious, this is apparently the longest they have gone without the Merchants visiting. I fear my curse may have befallen the tribe for taking me in, that or something foul is happening out upon the seas. I pray to Valkur that this is something as simple as a heavy winter.
10th Alturiak 1474
The Merchants finally arrived, the tribe is relieved and so am I.
18th Alturiak 1474
Turns out my employers aren't just Merchants, they are Smugglers. Welp hopefully this isnt my luck biting me in the ass again...
~Various Journal Entries of no importance, involving life aboard the "Last Ray of Dawn"~
7th Eleasis 1476
My Service aboard the "Last Ray of Dawn", I stayed on for a few extra months for a couple last little jobs on my way home. This time in a tenday, I will be home and gazing upon Eliz and Mari's smiling faces.
9th Eleasis 1476
WELP, thankfully the prison in Baldur's Gate is kind enough to allow a man to keep his journal.
13th Eleasis 1476
Today is the day of my trial, if Valkur be willing. Luck will shine upon me. If not, then my life has finally come to an end.
14th Eleasis 1476
HAHAHA I ******* LOVE PIRATES!
19th Marpenoth 1478
I have been aboard the "Morning Star" for 2 years now, this year was particularly harsh as we had to sail farther out into the seas than normal, in search of some great treasure. Several members of the crew have contracted and died of Scurvy. Thankfully due my relationship with Captain Adams, she has seen to it, that I recieve one of the handful of Goodberries our cook is able to create each day. Which has allowed me to not come down with this dreaded affliction.
22nd Marpenoth 1478
We have made land on a small island, it is the first bit of land we have seen in weeks.
23rd Marpenoth 1478
I met the Sea Queen today, Captain Adams was able to strike a bargain with her, she is aiding us in the search for our treasure.
24th Marpenoth 1478
The Sea Queen's hut disappeared shortly after we left it last evening, and much to my dismay.
25th Marpenoth 1478
With some experimentation and much laughter from our hosts and the crew.
5th Tarsakh 1481
It has been 5 years since I joined the "Morning Star", Captain Adams and I have had several romantic encounters over the years.
20th Tarsakh 1481
Morgana, gave the crew a choice today.
15th Flamerule 1481
Finally returned home today. Skatha

Lmao, Naw that was all I had originally. Though some did get added on here and there. There was some Memory Loss/Paradox stuff that happened.
I did end up "blessed/cursed" that any and every fruit Fresh or Dried, I tried to eat would transform into a Fresh Citrus Fruit as I bit into it xD

Liric Atern
OneD&D Aasimar Open Hand Monk (level 12)
A celestial in the service of Bahamut, Liric was cast down from Celestia for his incorrigible arrogance. (Growing up with dragons wasn't good for his mindset.) Bahamut has trapped him in this weak, mortal form and told him that he'll stay like this for as long as it takes for him to learn humility and perform heroic deeds alongside mortals. However, the servants of Bahamut practice the martial arts in their spare time, and even in this weakened state, Liric is still quite proficient in his old skills.

I'm a social pessimist.
