So cutting right to the chase my party consists of:
-Half Elven Life Domain Cleric
-Half Elven Beast Master Ranger
-Half Elven Assassin Rogue
-Bugbear Devotion Paladin
-Half Orc Berserker Barbarian
I can already see the lack of offensive spellcasting, but does anybody have a suggestion for a Build for a Utility/Offensive Spellcaster? Optimized Builds Welcome, just no spoilers. W/ Race and Feats included til 10th lvl please if you could.
Any arcane spellcaster would probably fit in well there. Race doesn't matter, but if you don't have darkvision, remember to take the Light cantrip or Devil's Sight invocation. For feats, the only one I can think of is Observant, and that's only if you're a human wizard. Your level 4 and 8 improvement would be best spent on bumping up your main stat, and a human for any other caster could take whatever they want at first level. I suppose giving yourself an extra saving throw with Resilient couldn't go amiss.
Honestly, a party of 6 with two sources of radiant damage and strong exploration abilities is going to be about as fine as a party can be in a campaign like CoS. Like Thucydides mentions, an arcane spellcaster would fill an obvious gap in the group in terms of spell selection, but it's by no means necessary.

A caster with AOE CC spells or boss lock down spells since your pally is devo he won't be doing that.
