So, I recently bought the Eberron book, and noticed a very peculiar magic item... the Docent. This got me thinking. Docents are remarkably similar to Cortana, so I started making a Master Chief inspired character. Then I ran into a problem. A Docent can only attune to a warforged, and, well, Master Chief is still human... currently, my build is looking like this:
Level 1: Warforged, take Fighter class, archery fighting style. Perception and Insight for proficiencies.
Level 2: Nothing to do here.
Level 3: Battle Master Subclass.
Level 4: Gunner feat.
Level 5: Nothing to do here.
I don't know if I should be an artificer/armorer instead, however... and I also don't know if this would be a fitting Master Chief build, or any spartan at all. I was just wondering what you guys think about this, and how I would make it.
My first thought would be Armorer Artificer, since the MJOLNIR armor is the iconic part about Spartans. You could do Guardian for the armor model and reflavour the Thunder Gauntlets as the Spartan's bulk and skill with hand to hand combat. You'd need to get Gunner somehow if you wanted actual weapons ("I need a weapon") but I would probably still make the character Str based.
Maybe you can multiclass with a Battlemaster Fighter to take some relevant/flavorful maneuvers as well. They can be reflavored as Halo 3's deployable equipment or something, depending on what you pick.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

(Assuming I am able to get a Docent).
