Technically, your echo does not make the attacks when you take the Attack action.
Here is what the feature says:
When you take the Attack action on your turn, any attack you make with that action can originate from your space or the echo’s space. You make this choice for each attack.
Because you are making an attack, you have met the requirements to use Divine Smite, which you use immediately after hitting with a weapon attack or unarmed strike. It simply originates from your echo's space. You may smite as you please.
In our groups main campaign, I am currently playing an Echo Knight Fighter.
As Sequilonis said, your Echo doesn't make the attack, even if you use your Unleash Incarnation ability, all of the attacks are your attacks.
As far as using the Divine Smite spell, Fighters don't get access to these spells unless you plan to multi-class.
So, assuming you are multi-classing into s class that has access to Divine Smite, then yes, have at it.
Cheers!

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
I believe so. The Echo's attack shares any other properties that a normal attack would, including being magical, extra damage from effects, and class features such as Life Drinker. Being considered the Pact Weapon would be no different. https://100001****/

Hi guys,
bit off topic but your weapon masteries are triggered if you hit through your echo. See this bottom of this post for push:

That makes the echo powerful.
Cheers
