So I was browsing through the new Heroes of Faerûn book, and came upon a passage in the "Gods of Faerûn" section:
"Her [Eilistraee's] priests practice a variant known as sword dancing, which blends bladesinging with bardic arts from the College of Dance."
Since then I've been wondering, if such a build (Dance Bard 3+x/Bladesinger 3+y) could be done without crippling the character just for RP reasons.
Any ideas?
DEX/INT/CHA Get tough so low CON not too painful.
For Ability Score what do you want the character to do.
DEX for Mage Armor (BS cannot have armor or Shiels)
DEX for Bard Unarmed Attack and Damage
INT for BS Hit / Damage / Con save for concentration / Wizard Spells
CHA for Bard AC "face" skills and Bard Spells
BARD uses CHA for spells and AC BOOST # of Bardic Inspiration
AC 10+ DEX + DEX from Dance Bard and +INT from Bladesong.
Maybe some others can add other things to think about.
