If you are going to ask a generic question like this, at least give some criteria to work with. Highest damage? Best battlefield control? Best at skills? Hardest to kill?
My response is merely anecdotal from watching Critical Role for the last seven years or whatever. But occasionally I hear that different rogue/fighter combos can be pretty crazy, but also Barbarians with their rage. It's not a flashy class but it's big numbers. Just gotta make sure you can actually hit your target.
