i have a character named Wool Loft and she is a sheepfolk path of the Berserker Barbarian. she was found and raised by a tribe/village of Barbarian goatmen in the mountains. she acts as a sort of mom friend to the party(AKA my other characters), is very nice, and has a bit of a temper. also the only one she is taller than is the goblin.
she has +3 str, +4 con, she is proficient in Animal Handling(+4), Athletics(+3), Intimidation(+3), Perception(+4), and Survival(+4)
what's your dex? because you should probably swap str and con. also if you can, be a farmer. tough will get you lots of hp and should cover for low AC or low con.

hello there! I have too many ideas. I love splatoon and obssess over any minmax. I'm sorry if anything I post is unkind or offends you. I'm well aware that I am very weird and I like it that way! call me adam or atomic.

the farmer background. that said, maybe your using 2014. also, your dex should not be 8. you should swap your 3rd highest with dex.

First off, your character should reflect your desires, so if you want to make a big, slow barbarian, that's fine. If you're looking to optimize, a couple general tips for Barbarians:
1. Typically, Barbarians benefit the most from Strength and Constitution, so having those two as high as possible will help you. Strength buffs attacks, which is basically all you'll do, especially as a Berserker, while Constitution will keep you standing, another big help for a class built around jumping head-first into a fight and sacrificing their safety and well-being for damage. Constitution usually also increases your AC, but see #2 below.
2. Dexterity is either incredibly or at least a little important for a Barbarian. Barbarians often fight "naked," meaning they don't wear armor, and take advantage of the Unarmored Defense class feature to allow Constitution to beef up their character's AC. In the event you choose this direction to go, Dexterity will also increase your AC, as well as your initiative bonus, allowing you to take marginally fewer hits. That said, Barbarians tend to live or die based on their HP rather than their AC, because you'll often rely on your Reckless Attack class feature to either increase your hit/crit chance or to augment your damage with Brutal Strike at higher levels. This means most enemies will get Advantage on you by default, so you're going to soak A LOT of hits. So you don't need need Dexterity, but it helps. Also, Barbarians are proficient with Medium Armor, so if you go that route, the max Dex Bonus you could apply to your AC would be limited to +2 (+3 with the Medium Armor Master feat).
3. You want as many hit points as you can get your grubby little mitts on. Consider that, when you rage, you get resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage. This means, against most basic enemies, you will take 1 damage for every 2 they dish out, meaning every hit point you get is worth twice as much as anybody else in the party. That means feats like Tough are MUCH more useful to you than they would be to a typical player. If you're playing 2014 rules, it's just a straight feat, but if you're playing by 2024 rules, Tough is an Origin feat. This means, when you're picking your character's background, that background will grant a free origin feat. As atomicgamer pointed out, the Farmer background is very popular for Barbarians, as it grants Strength and Constitution bonuses AND the Tough feat for free.
All-in, I'd say your character build is pretty good! Looks like you've invested in Constitution over Strength, which is fine as long as you keep them balanced as you level. I would recommend investing more into Dexterity, just to get your AC up a little, but not every character has to be a monolith. Mostly, my advice is knowing your role: hit and get hit. Your job is not to avoid trouble, your job is not to avoid danger, your job is not to hang back and let someone else have the moment. Your job is to hurl yourself fearlessly at the most dangerous thing, and make sure its attention is focused squarely on you. The fighter, the paladin, the cleric, these dudes can all fight next to you, but your job is to be the one that the enemy is swinging on, and your only path to achieve that goal is to create so much havoc that you cannot be ignored. And remember, since your hit points count double, healing spells cast on you count double. If anybody in the party ever drops before you do, it's because you didn't do your job right.

my idea for her is that she is a short sheep lady who is a mom friend and if someone tries to kill her friends she beats up the attackers. so she is pretty much a overprotective mom friend w/ a temper and a big ax. the only party member who is shorter then her is a goblin.

For backgrounds (e.g. farmer), you could draw some inspiration, but also check with your DM about customizing it, which is often done at most tables. That way you are not boxed into an ability score or origin feat just to the background’s role play vibe.
I’d echo the value for more DEX. It affects so much, including Initiative, and you’ll enjoy getting into combat more quickly to hold the line and get your rage started before enemy attacks come. If you’ve already locked in your stats, no worries. But something to keep in mind.
I think more Con than Strength CAN work with SOME Barbarians, but Berserkers are designed for damage rather than taking hits.
I don’t mean to interrupt you, but have you considered your long-term plans (feats?) It’s generally best to have a plan in place for these things. Personally, I have level 20 copies of most of my characters just so I have a general idea of which direction I’m going. You can always pivot when necessary.
Generally, the stat spread you want for an optimized build with point buy is Strength 15+2, Dexterity 14, Constitution 15+1, Intelligence 8, Wisdom 10 and Charisma 8. If your dexterity is that low, I would strongly suggest asking to make an adjustment to it somehow, as dexterity and constitution determine your unarmored defense that is crucial for the first few levels. The maximum armor you can use as a Berserker Barbarian is medium, which takes into account your dexterity also (albeit slightly.)
Anyway, let us know if you need and further help, but the information you have gotten thus far seems solid.
I mostly just meant for help w/ fleshing out the character lol. But I will try to keep all this in mind when I try to get her more battle ready. Thank you all!

Lot of "shoulds" without much explanation...
