The player handbook says that each round the spell is maintained "the storm produces additional effects on your turn" The way I see it, the round one is done for 10 turns, the second round is done for nine. I may be wrong, but from my interpretation, SOV is the best crowd control spell in DND, shredding armies and villages.

It doesn't say that. It says it produces different effects. Not additional.

Thank you for responding. So, I have the player handbook open right now, and I'm turned to spells, Storm of Vengeance to be precise. Second paragraph says "Each round you maintain concentration on this spell, the storm produces additional effets on your turn." Out of curiosity, what source says differently?
Edit, I looked at the spell's discription on the website, and you're right, it does say different, not additional. Huh. Why is the website's discription different than the physical copy's?

Well it is not intended to be used against a single creature. but with it you could take out a small army
