Jounichi you might be surprised how many monks are more of me and gwars opinion. We would like monk to be much better in this version I fill out my survey every time and I bet gwar does too. To be fair we got to wait til next ua to see if it had effect but don’t be to surprised if some good stuff happens. On the flip side you could be right and wotc will say monk will suck again lol
The difference between "good stuff" and "suck" is entirely subjective. You're entitled to your opinions. There's no need to belittle others for theirs.
Playtest 6 was written with Playtest 5 in mind. We're now on to Playtest 7, and the feedback period for Playtest 6 has closed.
This means any and all suggestions put forth in this thread are, technically, obsolete.
What we're doing here can, at present, be a fun little exercise. It should not be viewed more seriously than that. And, lest we forget, we aren't the ones making any changes. How many people have commented in this thread? How many users fill out the surveys? We barely register.
thats not the way they said this UA works. It builds on previous UAs, they have advice on how to do that, essentially using classes, subclasses, features and spells from the previous UAs unless they are overwritten, or specifically changed. The glossary on the other hand is forgotten with each UA, and you use only the new glossary.
thats why they had a note saying Hex spell was returning to its previous 2014 version, because otherwise it would use its UA5 version for testing.
That said, you are right that this should be viewed mostly as just a discussion of our ideas and not as law, or even serious feedback. There is no guarantee of being read, or heavy weight to anything we write here.

saying you dislike ideas isnt belittling them. The person shouldn't be attacked, but in a discussion of ideas, the ideas themselves are likely to be loved, hated or anything inbetween.
people shouldn't take disagreements on ideas or design as personal attacks.

Consider, if you will, how the result of satisfaction surveys is tied to the outcome of this refinement process.
Passing judgement on the end product can absolutely be equivocated with passing judgement on a person, and I'm not okay with that. Baskin-Robbins sells 31 flavors of ice cream for a reason. Saying "this isn't for me" is perfectly acceptable. You can move on to something you do like.

Saying "this sucks" is not.
if you ask 100 people to evaluate the flavors of Baskin robins, many people will say 'this sucks' to certain flavors. Its not an attack on the server, or the creator. Its honest feedback. If you fear honest feedback no one can have a real discussion.
also, not everything is a case of picking your own flavor, some decisions will effect many people.

Feedback? Sure. Honest critique? Don't make me laugh.
And you're more than welcome to conduct your own Family Feud style survey, as well, if you think your point has any merit.
Do we really need an entire page of arguing about arguing?

no one was belittling you? lets not play victim and instead talk about ideas :)

And I'll happily engage with people who don't resort to vapid words like "good" and "sucks" when they express their opinions.
