I saw a thread in "unrelated" called "'Power World Thrill' would be a great name for an in-universe D&D band/theme park," which got me thinking: What other potential D&D universe bands are out there? What are they like?
"Vicious Mockery" is an underground band playing whatever the in universe equivalent of punk rock is. My guess is celtic music. They're a rebellious band whose lyrics are designed to undercut the powers that be, landing them in trouble with the local government.
"Lich Slap" is a band of undead necromancer bards who play whatever D&D heavy metal is.
This is a lot like coming up with a party name for the campaign. One of my groups, we are known as "the Rateaters" due to our first quest involving killing a bunch of rats. Over the course of the campaign, we've been encouraged multiple times to change names. Even at the request of the DM, and it just seems to keep sticking.
We even have our own theme song...ripped from Daryl Hall and John Oates' hit song Man-eater. lol
A beholder seems like it would be a good cover for a heavy metal album.

Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

Rangers are not underpowered. They’re just exploration-oriented.
Wait..... Chris Carter ??? is it you ???? Mr. Carter ???
Is somebody going to tell me what is going on here?
Sedge said he was involved in a classic Rock Band called " Jurrassic Rock "" which later merged into a new band called T-Rex. Andf I wanted to know if Sedge is Chris Carter, one of those members from that Rock Band.
A roaming band of Four Halflings, each coincidentally representative of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. As an example, Death may be represented as being the eldest member within the group, or perhaps as a young lady who bares a deathly pale, almost icy completion. Pestilence could always be snacking, Conquest is possibly the most charming of the four, etc.
You Cannot Read our Band Name is a band whose name was proven false by someone on this thread. (this is not true yet, and I predict I will be too lazy to change it.)

We are Tiamat & The Demonic Hell Dragons
"The Orchestra"- A bunch of orcs with various instruments. Not limited to classical music, but it's the one that makes the most sense with the name.

Nine Chain Mails or The Dragonblood Gang
De Rolo is for sure a name for a great Country band.

Dertinus Tristany // Amilcar Barca // Vicenç Sacrarius // Oriol Deulofeu // Grovtuk
"Magic Missiles" would be a great modern-fantasy rock band name.

Once upon a time, I played a DDB moderator one-shot of all bards in a Classic Rock band. We all Polymorphed into T-Rex to defeat the final encounter.
Our band name was, "Jurrasic Rock".
Oh, and the DM had no idea.
EDIT: I knew I've answered this before!

In Catalonia there was on 90's a POP band name called "" CLOSED by demise "".
I guess noone catched the sarcasm on this name.
