Welcome to the Court! In this game, each player claims a role, and a alignment. Your class and race is optional. This is a court, and once all roles are fulfilled, it begins, the prosecuted will be on trial for a crime stated by the prosecutor. The roles: The Prosecuted: The prosecuted is the player under trial. If the prosecuted position is taken, and the game has not yet begun, you may claim the role of accomplice. Next game, this name will be changed to defendant. The Prosecutor: The prosecutor is the player who is pressing charges. The Defendant: The defendant is the player trying to defend the prosecuted's innocence. Next time, this name will be changed to Attorney. The Judge: The judge is the player trying to moderate the court.
Once the game begins, you may still join, simply claim 'Witness' If you claim witness, also claim whose side you are on, the prosecutor or prosecuted. When called forth, you make your witness, answer all questions, then the judge will dismiss you. You may rejoin the game by claiming witness again, but witness' are not waited upon in the final vote.
All four required players are here - Not necessary to play, but here is a randomly generated fantasy court by ChatGPT:
Deep within the labyrinthine tunnels of the Underdark, the Court of Shadows stands as a solemn chamber carved from the black obsidian of a colossal cavern. Bioluminescent fungi scattered across the floor cast an eerie greenish glow over the courtroom, while dimly glowing crystals embedded in the ceiling create an otherworldly ambiance. The judge presides over cases presented by representatives from various Underdark factions, with an audience of drow, duergar, mind flayers, and other denizens of the dark realms. In this enigmatic and shadowy court, alliances are forged and shattered, and secrets are unveiled in the relentless pursuit of justice, making it the perfect venue for the intricate web of Underdark politics.
The Judge or Prosecutor may make the opening statement. Remember it is the prosecutor (Winnerofall) who decides the crime of the prosecuted.
Baalzeboop, at the time of the alleged offence, was engaged in a rather tense game of Jenga with a topaz dragon. I was judging the game and can say that at no point did Baalzeboop leave the lair.

But Baalzeboop could have casted Clone on himself and had the clone in the lair or sent the clone to try to kill me. And the weapon that he used was a short sword.
Baalzeboop could have payed someone to dress up as him so he could pretend that he didn't try to stab me with his short sword. Also I was attempting to summon a demon to work with.

However I know that Topaz Dragons are selfish and unsociable. So why is Baalzeboop playing a game of Jenga with a Topaz Dragon?

I am prosecuting Baalzeboop because he stole a very valuable crystal from me* and tried to stab me through the chest**
* I "might " have stolen the crystal from him.
** And I " may or may not have " tried to kill him when he chased me.
I am willing to settle out in court and drop the charges of theft and attempted murder for 50 platinum pieces and the crystal that he stole from me.

Very well. Does the prosecuted agree to these terms, or will we proceed with the trial?

Objection! Very big crystals would be an improvised weapon, and therefore is too weak to be an attempt on your life!
