Everyone has their stories from in game, and out of context. Stories that have molded and shaped the games we play.
I am putting this thread up to encourage people to talk about the weird things, the bad things, and the moments that made everything worthwhile.
One of my favorite moments revolved around a dnd game in high school when a psionicist told his crystal to "watch for anything out of the ordinary". Once everyone was asleep one of our more... kleptomaniac team members 'borrowed' the psionicists money pouch. This was something entirely ordinary for the character and so it produced much drama. I said to watch for anything out of the ordinary! It was pretty normal for this person to steal anything that was not bolted down (think kender Dragonlance) so it was not out of the ordinary. It created tension and some unhappiness but it still made for a memorable moment for everyone involved.
To make things stranger I began thinking about this while watching Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which has given me some excellent idea for a DnD campaign. Yeah it is campy but gosh does it have a certain amount of scifi dnd feeling.
I hope everyone that reads this cracks a little smile and I beg you to share memorable moments good, bad, and ugly.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."

I feel keeping the title simple is best.
