Personally, I Google it, most unique items have values given to them by players so it's a few seconds in searches to find. For the non-unique ones (so mostly +X items), I haven't really found much. For those, I use the following ranges:
Common: 50-100 GP.
Uncommon: 101-500 GP.
Rare: 501-5,000 GP.
Very Rare: 5,001-50,000 GP
Legendary: 50,001+ GP.
I then have a guess as to their power and usefulness and place it on the scale somewhere accordingly. Obviously, Legendary becomes very difficult to scale, but you probably shouldn't be selling them in shops and players shouldn't have so many that they want to sell them, so it should be moot.

There is a guide—similar to Linklite’s above—in Xanathar’s; it’s in the chapter on downtime activities.
Its possible that it's the same. I just used Google.

Hello,
Does anybody know where you can find a price list for magical items.
For example Long sword +1, ring of protection +1, cloak of elvenkind.
There isn't really an official price list.

Free resource with useful and more detailed magic item prices in comparison to the crap in the official books.
just to clarify, Linklite's chart is not from XGE. For official rules, there's separate prices for buying and selling.
For both books, its listed in the downtime activities sections.

There's also a magic item shop in ghosts of saltmarsh that has a price list by rarity.
