So now that Hasbro bought dndbeyond, I'm sure there will be some fun stuff in store. But I wonder if the old pdfs from a few years ago (Plane Shift Dominaria, Kaladesh, etc.) will finally be able to be put into dndbeyonds stuff. Some of those subclasses were amazing (looking at you pyromancer) and wanted to know if I'll be able to stop homebrewing it and have it official.
I'd say the odds are as low as them putting in obsolete UA material. It was never official, and it's not on their radar anymore. If they ever decide to do something with those - like expand them into official content - then the odds would go up, but the final product would likely be different from the current Plane Shift documents.
There’s a ton of material that WotC has published for free WITH the ampersand on the front that DDB either charges for or just doesn’t offer. I’d rather they work on those first before focusing on more non ampersand material.
but it would be cool if they ever got to it. It’s really not the same as UA material. UA IS playtest material released by the D&D team and is not in final form . Those MTG pubs just weren’t fully play tested and we’re released by a non D&D team- although were in final form.

James Wyatt who wrote them with his daughter moved back from the D&D team from the MtG team I think last year, so it possible that WotC might decide to polish them and release them in a compilation book, which I what I'd do.
It's possible we get a full Dominaria setting book this year or next year.
If they do, it’ll have to be the size of a small bookshelf to be remotely accurate or thorough.
Accurate or thorough? A 5e setting book? We haven't had one of those since Wildemount. I'm not a fan of Dominaria, though, so I'll stick to my foolish hopes of Paliano.

Incorrect. We got Ravenloft, and we're expecting to see two more this year.
the Planeshift documents weren't even UA. They were all homebrew documents made by the MtG team and were, to varying degrees, imbalanced to official content.
...that said, I would like to have playable Khenra so I have a dogfolk race. but even then, the Amonkhet cleric subs were just "smash together existing domains and see what works" and most of them don't work, so those would have to be totally overhauled... the Aetherborn from Kaladesh have their own problems...
Frankly, the most balanced thing in there is Pyromancer Sorcerer.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

what material does DDB charge for that WOTC released for free? I’m unaware of anything that fits that description.

Shame. I really liked the content they put into those.
