Hi, as the title says, is the new book needed for the updated races on dndbeyond, or is the "patch" to them free if you already had the races?
the races in MotM are being treated as new races entirely so yes you need to get the book to have access to them.

There are 2 reasons:
Both of the reasons make tottal sense. Im not angry, just a bit disappointed. I was a bit hopefull on that.
